About us

HOMAGE is a European research network (Collaborative Project) coordinated by the Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM, Prof. Faiez Zannad, Nancy, France).

The consortium brings together 19 complementary partners from 9 European countries and United States whose expertise in these disorders will help ultimately shorten the time lag from basic research to translational application.

HOMAGE has assembled and integrated a network of researchers with internationally recognized expertise and experience in Heart Failure (HF). Among them, 4 SMEs will ensure the full exploitation of the generated knowledge. The HOMAGE participants have amongst the most productive background in Europe for clinically-driven experimental research in Heart failure in terms of publications.

The composition of the consortium guarantees that the results of the project can be exploited maximally by both the clinical and industrial sectors, given the EU regulatory issues that are implicated in the production process. Hence, HOMAGE is ideally positioned to translate HOMAGE strategies to the clinic and demonstrate that the concept “from bench to bedside” is realistic for the detection, management prevention and treatment of patients at risk of HF.
